Sorry for the delay guys, been very busy..
I have to say right off the bat, my first reaction to The Directors Cut was lukewarm to say the least. From my point of view it was very disappointing.
As Kate is such a wonderful creator, I want new material. Re-visiting previous expressions is good in theory and I agree with the comment about Kate doing this instead of perfoming live. However, as I loved the originals so much I find it difficult to appreciate the new interpretations.
It has shown me my understanding of Kate and her work is not what I thought it was! I still enjoy listening to anything produced by her because I love her so much and if she farted down a tube, it would still make me feel ecstatic!
I look forward to her new concept in the pipeline as I am sure all Kate fans do everywhere. Give me Kate creating anew anytime...

Interesting Neo. And very healthy that your well known devotion to KB hasn't blinded you to your own Directors Cut reality, if I may say so.
This really does seem to be the KB album to divide opinion.
With the exception of Rubberband Girl, my affection and enthusiasm for the recordings remains undimmed.
