That album title didn't come via Wikipedia did it? Because someone has been posting fake Kate Bush info there - after a day or two it usually gets deleted by the powers that be.
Kate doesn't usually decide the album title until very late in the album-making process, so it's more likely that we'll hear about "the new album" before we actually know what it's called.

Speculation stirs the imagination and sometimes hits the target! Check previous posts prior to "Aerial" about "The New Dawn"....

Hi W.HI.P
I am good. Still been delaying the book. Fairly certain I will release it next year...
How about yourself?

Kate Bush biographer Graeme Thomson has this to say: 11 January 2011
There's been some rumours flying around today about a new Kate Bush album coming out this year. Perhaps best to exercise a little caution. This from a well-placed source:
“Right to be cautious. These rumours always surface this time of year and there's no reason to think this is any different. We're hopeful that a new record may emerge this year, but I was saying the same to people in Jan of 2010 so who knows... only Kate herself. Let's keep fingers crossed!! I'm feeling optimistic."
So: It's either "as you were" or "reasons to be cheerful", depending on your outlook. Crossing our fingers can't hurt though, can it?undertheivybook.blogspot.com/So I think that gives us cause to be optimistic that Kate is working on something, but pessimistic about our chances of hearing it this year. --Paul--

Now we have this from the respected British Music Magazine NME: www.nme.com/news/kate-bush/54595January 17, 2011
Kate Bush is likely to release new material in 2011, her spokesperson has told NME.
The news comes after unsubstantiated reports about a new release from the fame-shunning musician recently surfaced on music blog Wotyougot.com.
Speaking in reaction to that report, Bush's spokesperson said a release from her is likely for 2011, although nothing is confirmed yet. They added that the new music from Bush would not necessarily mean a full-length follow-up to her last album 2005's 'Aerial', was on the way.
In 2007 Bush released a new song, 'Lyra'. It was used on the closing credits of the film 'The Golden Compass'.
After the birth of her son Albert in 1998 Bush decided to step away from singing in public. Prior to 'Aerial', her last album was 1993's 'The Red Shoes'.
So, if not a full album, then what? A one-off single? A new "Greatest Hits" album with 2 or 3 new tracks? Kate is certainly overdue for a new Greatest Hits album, since "The Whole Story" only goes up to 1987. Perhaps she has a handful of new songs that don't fit the concept for her next album and therefore could be accommodated on a "Best of Kate" package? At the same time she could also release a DVD containing all of her promotional videos, plus bonus features like live footage and whatever else can be found. It would be a smart idea to whet the public's appetite for a real new Kate album, which would follow as soon as Kate is damn good and ready! --Paul--
