THIS IS IT! ... No, KaTe is not planning a 50-concert run at the O2 arena! ;D
Rather, Homeground has decided to cease "regular" production of the Kate Bush magazine with the next issue, no.79...
HomeGround is the oldest established Kate Bush magazine now in production. It was started in 1982 and now, as then, is run independently of any official fan organisation or record company. It has readers in the UK, in most countries of Europe, in the US, Canada, South America, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Our aim is to provide a service of news and information about Kate and her music, and to provide a platform for review and discussion of Kate's work on a world-wide basis. HomeGround is edited by Krystyna Fitzgerald-Morris, Peter Fitzgerald-Morris and David Cross. On May 18th 2007 HomeGround celebrated being 25 years old!
NB Update: 29th July 2009 - The Future of HomeGround magazine
Having very seriously considered the future of the magazine, we have decided that we will cease "regular" production with the next issue no.79 which we are hoping to get out in the Autumn. However, HomeGround as an entity is not going to disappear. We will still be involved with the KBNI/HomeGround bulletin board, and our aim will be to publish special issues of the magazine at appropriate times such as album releases. We will also continue to hold the Glastonbury Gatherings and Wuthering Hikes every year.
There will be readers with unexpired portions of subscriptions after issue 79. Anyone who wants a refund please let us know, otherwise we will hold unexpired subscriptions against future special issues.
We want to make issue 79 a very special magazine, so your contributions would be very welcome. Once we start work on the magazine we'll send out a further update.
