Greetings 2shy, welcome to our boudoir.
Thats a good start with HOL & TRS. While we all wait for the next magnum opus, search out the delights of the other albums too, unless of course you've already done so. Have a look at the Deeper Understanding Boards here, and maybe record your own thoughts on Kate's material and what it tells us.
I hope you enjoy your time here!

Thank you Adey. I have already had a look at some of the boards and I am already enjoying it here. I see that you are not afraid of a little controversy? I am planning on buying the Dreaming next, I just need to save up the pennies ;D

Good choice 2shy. I expect you'll find it a challenge at first, but it's sooo worth it. The Dreaming is my personal favourite, but more than that, it's mind boggling. After you hear Get Out of My House for the first time you'll never forget it. Happy listening..

Welcome 2shy! I'm glad Kate's still making new fans OK, so I've only been a fan for a year or two...)! Hope you enjoy the board, as well as "The Dreaming" - how can you not enjoy "The Dreaming", it's an oxymoronic phrase

OK, or Leave It Open. Or Houdini. Or Night of the Swallow or All the Love.. Dammit, It's an unbelievable album, that elevated KB to the level of genius! Acquire at the earliest opportunity...

Thank you Sheila, Adey & Sto' I do actually have a copy of The Dreaming on cassette, although it is beginning to suffer from wear and tear My favourite track from that particular album would have to be Sat In Your Lap. A very frantic song indeed.

It's ironic that you like Sat In Your Lap. It just so happens to be both mine and Sheila's favourite Kate Bush song. ;D

I must say that it feels like I've known all of you ladies and gentlemen for a long time now. Now you're making me paranoid again. Plus I've missed my Parnoid's Anonymous meeting again this week. They keep change the time and place, without telling me. : :::swats imaginary bee:::

We're both online at the same time. AND I only have one laptop. How could it possibly be me?

The video is dated but I LOVE her pouting scene. I'll restate my vision for a remake of the video: Trombone playing ice skaters. ;D (the roller skates must go!)
