Ok, we have an option to use the Karma feature on here. You can bless or smite depending whether you think they deserve to be 'blessed or punished' if you like. Everyone starts at 0, a bless adds one, and a smite deducts 1. Wierd I know... but give me your opinions one this I guess a bad thing about this is it gives trouble makers the chance to be more of a nuisance , but I don't think we have any trouble around here... we're a good crowd if I do say so myself ;D

No. It's petty and arbitrary.

I think a karma-option is quite patronizing. Plus (as you said already) it gives trouble makers too much opportunity to make problems, which would give the moderators et al a lot of work setting things straight again.

As long as its INSTANT. But who will be the karma judge? very scarry There will be no judge, and it is instant. You simply click bless or smite (I think). A bless will be a plus and a smite will be a minus to you're figure. Everyone starts at 0. This is how I think it works, but I'm not 100%

Is that Karma as in Karma Cannick?
I smite the idea of smiting. There's something very biblical about it.
Just imagine the PM's - "That Adey was rattling on again today - I was forced to give him a right good smiting.." OR "It's not fair, I've just been unreasonably smote.."

Is that Karma as in Karma Cannick? No, you're thinking of Otto Mc Anick I Hate the idea of a Karma feature. It reduces the forum to conspicuous pandering and unjustified pettiness.
