A message from beyond the grave, as posted here by Scotland's 'other' main poet..Oh Marvellous Forum! So well managed by Lori,(Who's Northern sensibilities Have ne'er m ade me sorr y.) I bask in your wonder And have oft' sought advice, Through the Truest of words So good you read twice. I'm inspired by Neo, And his life changing story. But it's Xan's moving words I would have tell of my glory. The calmness of Adey And the wickedness of Sven, I'll not see these talents E'en if I lived again. And where are you Sheila? Where went you Paul? I've missed you as much As I'd miss you all If you were to abandon This marvellous Forum. (E'en when you were four, You still were a quorum.) So here in my grave By the silvery Tay, I'll continue to log on Oh at least once a day. I'll not post again Although my words will you miss, Perhaps silently wondering If I'm taking the p*ss.. ;D

Taking the p!ss indeed. You seem to compose better under a psuedonym....whomever you are Doug. btw is the moon full tonight? Thanks for the tribute anyway. Why does there have to be so much drama Mr Ghostwriter?

Of course the true glory of McGonagal, is that he considered himself to be a genius, both as a poet and a playwrite. If this IS you Doug, (and I'm not convinced) I must say it's a wickedly accurate pastiche of WM in full flight - he truly was this bad.. Nice one, and a nice tribute too.

If this IS you Doug, (and I'm not convinced) I swear I'm done with the alterego bit. Besides he slips up when he refers to himself being seen sympathetically by Zan. No one else could have said that.

Actually, this piece of nonsense was posted by me - I wanted to see how close I could get to McGonagall's style.
Sorry Neo, if you got the blame..

Totally off the subject, I was just looking at your avatars.. Adam seems Pythonesque, like a Gilliam animation. The morphing Beethoven/Van Gough motif could be a reference to yours & Sven's fight for pre-eminence/existence as wayward sons of your Father & puppet master. Although I guess it could be just a clever pic..

I had not noticed the Pythonesque quality of Adam; however, I am a fan and did find it fitting as well as amusing so not a big coincidence I suppose. The morphing avatar seemed to represent a more renaissance feel that I was going for. Sven is much more crass. Not at all in Al's corner.
