I send my love for Kate today. Who knows when our beloved will venture to our shores, and across yours again? Who Knows? I'd really like to know.

As much as I share your sentiment, I seriously doubt that Ms Bush will return to the US. BTW - welcome to the domain.

Why do you seriously doubt this ?

Why do you seriously doubt this ? Well, she didn't promote her last six albums here, why would she start now? She doesn't seem to like travel. She surrounds herself with friends and family, and does not seek fame or noteriety. She really doesn't need the money either. I'll bet that she doesn't return here.

Thanks for the welcome. Why wouldn't she start now? Who really knows ? I appreciate your words, and am not as naive as my question might connote. A beautiful site here. As always, looking forward to any 'news'. S

As always, looking forward to any 'news'. S I made no assumption, but I hope I didn't come off as condescending. But you're right, who knows? I'd still wager against it. Thanks for compliments on the site. We have some insightful regulars here,

No, I heard you Al T. I understood you, too. That's always been part of the frustration. But I would be willing to place a waiger..how about a tenner? ? I do know that a few of my other loves in the music world "stay in" and then come out. I am so hoping that Kate Bush will pull a few PEGGY LEES. Miss Peggy Lee, in her later years, did some beautiful "lounge" tours. Very relaxed, very personel, and very elegantly done in very small, but expensive rooms. Carole King is coming back out, too. I do have this "feeling", that it will happen. "I NEEDED YOU TO LOVE ME TOO. I WAIT FOR YOUR MOVE"

But I would be willing to place a waiger..how about a tenner Sure - I can't lose. It'd be well worth more than ten (dollars? ) to see her stateside. I'm sure the new album will be released, just not a visit here. I like the Peggy Lee and Carole King references - great talents! I tried not to like Ms Lee's work, but it just haunted me and wouldn't leave my imagination. Ms King is one of the most prolific and erudite singer - songwriters of our time.

Hi Scottland, it seems you might be sticking around. A productive member is always welcome. As a Brit, I'm assuming that the UK will be the 1st port of call on any promotional itinerary prepared by Kate or her people. Even then, I'm not holding my breath for any sort of a physical sighting. There was nothing for The Red Shoes, The Sensual World or Hounds of Love. She has infact, not met fans in number in any sort of promotional context since her tour of the major Record Shops when The Dreaming was released. (I was fortunate enough to be there.) Even then, I suspect that the pressure came from EMI, who still had some status at that time in their relationship with her. I'm fairly sure that Kate did get to New York on The Dreaming signing tour, but I think that was it for the USA (again, correct me if I'm wrong on any of this stuff). I certainly don't want to rain on your parade, but I think your best chance - and a slim one it would be at that - is to be ready to buy an airline ticket to the UK at short notice! I will of course immediately notify everyone here if news of any personal promotional activity for the expected new album reaches my ears, but I honestly can't see it. I think AT's tenner is safe.. As for future tours/gigs/public performances - well we've discussed that here many times. If it ever happens I will be amazed.. Sorry to be a killjoy
