An amazingly well-done shot-for-shot remake of bits of The Line, The Cross, and The Curve with German guys in the lead roles. Sing Back the Symbols.

ROFLMAO. i must say i've never saw the original but if this remake is like the original. it must be really funny. for those who saw the original, how was it I like it... but I thought I would love it. I have an affection for nightmare, dreamy, surreal imagery... which has a tendency to be an easy mark for humor and parody. I think it was greatly ambitious and brilliant, in parts. I think Kate may have been growing tired and frustrated with it, and it is slow in those parts. She seemed to have a high concept visionary piece in mind, and probably grew frustrated with her limitations - time, energy, finances and knowledge of the medium. Certainly worth tracking down, if only to have a visual for the album and some amazingly beautiful sequences. Sometimes I feel sad for Kate regarding these parodies. She has allowed herself to be so open and original, which is extremely brave. I wish others would more appreciate it, other than mock it. But, I do find it a little funny, when done in the right context.
