I see her face in the bright fire light, her face so bright it lights up the night. I hold her hand in the bright moon light, but am I sure that the time is right?
So under the bright moon light in the bright fire light, I kiss her lips and it's alright.
The morn has come and the sun has risin', if she was younger than me I'd be sent to prison.

Nothing is as pristine, than my love for Christine. Nothing is more formidiable Than the itch for my Chlamydia Her name's so exotic She requires an anti-biotic

Go back to the plagiarism. Not sure I can do that. I've been tamed.

Go back to the plagiarism. Well, if you won't stoop to plagiarism, then just pass someone else's work off as your own again. ;D

My dearest Rosacea, you cause me to blush I look in the mirror and my face starts to flush I go all pimply and swollen you see I'm so glad you've got a dermatology degree.

Do you mean the Leafy Green Poem? I never said it was mine. The rest though, is.

Go back to the plagiarism. I prefer to use the term 'Borrow'.

Sorry, I have come late here and am leaving thoroughly bewildered. What has happened? Ah, well... see what happens when I leave and you men get into a tangle... For anyone interested in my input ::groans all around:: I think the poetry has been quite lovely. Everyone seems to be filled with fantasy, which make for some refreshing posting. However, I hope no one becomes too uncomfortable with its passionate nature (myself included) and the authors remember their characters. And as for my place in this... "I was not born under a rhyming planet." I can enjoy the beautifully written word as well as any other, but I lack the tongue for it myself. If originality is the call for the day... than I have no place but as a bystander. However, I may contribute a well placed quote/poem/lyric or two, properly acknowledged where necessary, but of course. Unless there is a thread for plagiarized poetry....
