In this thread you must go to this website: www.sr.se/cgi-bin/p1/src/sing/default.aspand then add one line of lyrics. Samples from famous artists at this site will sing them for you. For every artist that you identify, you may add another word to be sung (you must make sure they are in the database) Keep it going. (Thanks to Sto' for the inspiration) I'll start: Yet love is hard...

LOL this is really funny. I added the line:
But so am I
and Kate sings the first word (yet) !! The sample is from 'Don't give Up' I think.. I wonder if it always processes them in the same way. As you can email the results to a friend, is it possible to send the results back to the board for every member to hear?

The protracted I-----I is from "Wicked game" by Chris Isaak. This is hilarious ;D.
My addition is: why do you want to make me cry...

O.K. This is going to be a good thread. ;D I like the way it has morphed. You need only recognize one new artist in the previous post or posts to add a line. So heres what we have:
Yet love is hard, but so am I, why do you want to make me cry..... The cry is Janis Joplin
type in all the lines above and add:
You make it so hard yet...

I've posted this to move the thread back up where people can see it.
Its a shame it seems to have stalled, its all great fun.

I agree this is fun. Try the old ones or add to them. Or, as I'm doing here, make up a new lyric: "The flowers in your hair make it almost seem clean"Type these in at the site in the 1st post (better yet, save it as a favorite, so you can play more often) and hear the stars sing your words. Identify one of the artists - and you get to add a new line.

LMAO ;D I think the 'in' was sung by Bobby Hatfield. I'll take your unpleasant imagery a bit further: The morning after, and your* in my bed I now almost wish that I were dead I hope this all is only a dream because only your lips appear to be clean* sounds like the correct you're. Too far?

I went on this site again the other day. Its obviously being supported as the database of words is getting bigger. I found it managed 2 words that weren't there before.
Does the email facility on it work though, and could some clever individual use it to send the completed masterwork back to the Board?
That would be a nice way to round off this thread

Sure yeh, but I meant save the finished 'song' as an audio file (which the sing it site will do) and send it here on the site's email facility. Thats the tricky part, coverting from an email to a post. Is it possible to send an email to the Board?

Well here's a topical one... "When will number eight arrive? In time for Christmas?" And the guy at the end sounds pretty sure that it will be released before Christmas, doesn't he?

Good one Sto' Try this 'lesbian country' lyric: Don't ask me for love with her on your mind.

It seems a shame for this thread to get buried. I tried the above and recognised the following: Kate - Don't give up; Led Zep - Whole lotta love; Dido - Thank you; Chris Isaak - Wicked game. Also: Crash test dummies, Micheal Jackson.
