Tell us all about your achievments, whatever they may be. I know we'd all love to know I'll go last, so I'll know what I've got to beat. ;D I may have trouble bragging about my many sterling accomplishments.

Ah well, I'll start 'rolling the ball'. I'm not sure if you knew but not long before I discovered Kate, my idols were the pop group 'Steps' (heard of them?). I've always been into dance and I used to always learn their dance routines (not the easy ones that the fans are meant to copy, the full out ones that their backing dances used to do). Well Steps hosted a TV talent show so me, desperate to meet them decided to apply (with my gymnastics). I sent in a video and loadsa photo's and got called up a few weeks later asking to go for an audition. After that, got called saying we'd made it onto the show. The day was amazing!!! The group were so nice and we got to work with them from 10am - 6pm. Me had make up artists and after we performed, a crew of people kept running over to us to re-apply make-up and give us drinks of water. We won our heat, but unfortunately got beat in the final by a 7 year old line dancer. How many people does it take to make a line?!?! That day though was definitely a day to remember

Lori, that sounds like a really fun day! I used to like Steps too... They were nice and gimmiky at the time Hmm, well as mine isn't very exciting, I'll go next I suppose. With all this music inspiration around me, I enjoy writing songs on the piano and singing etc. (although I'm really not very good - if you want a real expert, talk to Dan ). There was a talent contest at my school a year or so ago and so I decided I'd put on a performance. I got together with a couple of friends, who became my 'backing dancers' (Lori, we could have done with you there!!) and spent hours and hours working on the dance routine and practicing. I'd recorder a keyboard backing track, and we were just about to go on on the big day...and the tape player just wouldn't work. Lucky, the person introducing went on for about 40 seconds talking about the fact that I'd written the song myself and come up with the choreography, so I could quickly get one of the technitians over, whose expert advice guided us towards discovering that the stupid machine wasn't plugged in. So it was all all right in the end And, to top it all off, we won first place! ;D

Milestones for me include:
*Signing apprentice professional forms for Fulham Football Club, serving 18 months then 1 year as full professional. *Played for a total of 4 pro clubs and 12 semi-pro clubs, picking up medals along the way. *During my semi-pro days selling for various organisations, hitting sales targets, helping building businesses. (Including my own) *Married and raising a family of 3 daughters.
The next one I know will be contentious because it is unproven (to date)
*Inspired Kate Bush to finish "The Sensual World" album, continued into "The Red Shoes" and beyond.
I'll understand if you guys wish to banish me from the board following a claim of this magnitude. However, when it is proved to be true, I hope you enjoy the full extent of the story.
*Future Goal: Sell over a million copies of "Hiding on the Edge of a Dream."
"Oh its gonna be the way you've always dreamt about it, but its gonna be really happening to ya!"

Don't worry RT. My list began after I was 18 yo. I am very impressed with both you and Sto. I only wish I was halfway as far along and mature as the 2 of you when I was your age.
Your best days are yet to come. Seize the opportunities!

Your best days are yet to come. Seize the opportunities! You wise old dog Altruest! I have to agree, Sto and RT have demonstrated maturity beyond their years. (Not forgetting our host Lori, without whom we would not be enjoying these beautiful interactions) With young people like these in the world, I know we are in good hands!

I would love to be able to play piano. So would I Lori. What was really discouraging was, that after breaking my pinky finger, I asked the doctor if I would be able to play the piano after it healed. He said yes, but he was lying. :::hits rimshot::: ;D
