You know it's really kind of cool that you're laughing 1753 miles from me at something written minutes ago. And from you to UK, wow!

Yes indeed, and my, don't we sometimes take this stuff for granted? Perhaps Deeper Understanding really does beckon after all.. Or maybe not - this forum is full of members who are the most able communicators.

Or maybe not - this forum is full of members who are the most able communicators. This has been one of the most moronic, yet fun day of posting I've seen here in a while. This forum, I agree, is blessed with several, if not all, gifted writers and artists. You will not find a better group of folks anywhere. Plus, we pulled this thread out of the fire for Lori.

Plus, we pulled this thread out of the fire for Lori. As you can see Lori, we had some fun with one of your old threads - probably got a bit carried away.. Belated Xmas wishes for 2003.....

:: digging :: I knew it was here somewhere, and reading it did help a little. But since the holidays are just around the corner... “I think there must be something wrong with me, Linus. Christmas is coming, but I’m not happy. I don’t feel the way I’m supposed to feel. I just don’t understand Christmas. I guess I like getting presents, sending Christmas cards and decorating trees and all that, but I’m still not happy.”<br> Having a low spot today. I'm finding it hard to keep up the holiday spirit for everyone else in my life. Anyone got any cheer to spare?

:: digging :: Anyone got any cheer to spare? How about this: * Turn or your AC. (it's not that cold in San Diego ) * Turn down the lights and light some candles. * Put some gingerbread mix in the oven. * Simmer some spiced cider on the stove. * Put on some carols. * Pour a deep snifter of brandy or amaretto. and then..... Remember to give yourself a gift..... Time for reflection In doing so think of what it would be like without family or friends. Then remember to call them. Make a list of things that will bring joy to others - visiting a nursing home - letting people in front of you at the checkout - providing an ''Angel Tree' gift etc.. And then do them. Those blessings will be returned. And don't forget that we value you and who you are. Your are respected and loved by your cyber family here. Merry Christmas to you and your's.
