The Beatles were satanists that had made a pact with the devil Every band that has made a pact with satan .. Rolling Stones , Led Zeppelin, Beatles, The Who, etc. Really? I'm sure their respective lawyers would be very interested to hear that. Tannis was just quoting from this site: stargods.org/BeatlesEvil.htmlAlthough reading that page I notice several errors. Although Aleister Crowley does appear on the Sgt Pepper album cover (along with about 100 other people) the album was NOT released on the 20th anniversary of his death. The album came out on the 1st June 1967, but Crowley died on the 1st December 1947. Crowley didn't actually sacrifice children to Satan, as far as has ever been proved. Also John Lennon did not take Mia Farrow to India to be with the Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ... she went with her sister Prudence (hence the Beatles song "Dear Prudence"). The Beatles song "Sexy Sadie" is not about Susan Atkins, it's about the Maharishi. This is proved by bootlegs of early takes of the song where Lennon sings "Maharishi" instead of "Sexy Sadie". Lennon was persuaded to change the words so that the Beatles would not be sued. It's also a bit of a stretch to claim that the Manson family murdered Sharon Tate et al in "pre-payment" for Roman Polanski's Academy Award! However there ARE rock artists who do (or did) have an interest in Crowley/the Occult and (dare I say it) Satanism. --Paul-- (not the one who was the Walrus)

Tannis was just quoting from this site: stargods.org/BeatlesEvil.htmlThat doesn't make it any less libellous I'm afraid, especially as it wasn't presented as a quote but as a simple statement apparently meant to be taken factually. And since neither it nor very much of the article it came from (yes, I'd already read it) are factual, therein lies the problem - both legal and moral. Well done to barrysrgowingfor checking the facts but it shouldn't have been up to him.

^ Yes, thank you Paul... Rolling The Wheel, to the cycles of human breathing... The circular 8-spoked wheel was very important to the ancient Celts, who saw in this design their yearly round of eight holy days. The Celtic Welsh goddess Arianrhod was connected with the Silver Wheel (the stars that turn in the heavens). The hub of the Silver Wheel was her spirit-castle, Caer Sidi, where the dead came. However, the wheel in general was associated with many other world deities. The Hindu goddess Kali's wheel is the Wheel of Time (the Kalacakra), for she rules over destiny and karma. ~ Kalachakra, a Sanskrit term used in Tantric Buddhism that means "time-wheel" or "time-cycles". The Kalachakra tradition revolves around the concept of time ( kâla) and cycles ( chakra): from the cycles of the planets, to the cycles of human breathing, it teaches the practice of working with the most subtle energies within one's body on the path to enlightenment. The phrase "as it is outside, so it is within the body" is often found in the Kalachakra tantra to emphasize the similarities and correspondence between human beings and the cosmos; this concept is the basis for Kalachakra astrology, but also for more profound connections and interdependence as taught in the Kalachakra literature. ~ Jokhang Temple, Lhasa. The rooftop statues of two golden deer flanking a Dharma wheel is iconic. The "Wheel of Dharma" is a symbol that has represented dharma, the Buddha's teaching of the path to enlightenment, since the early period of Indian Buddhism. It is also sometimes translated as 'wheel of doctrine' or 'wheel of law'. A similar symbol is also in use in Jainism. It is one of the Ashtamangala Symbols. In its simplest form, the Dharmacakra is recognized globally as a symbol for Buddhism. Thai people also use a yellow flag with a red Dharmacakra as their buddhist flag. ~ Domkhar Trashi Chholing Dzong Dharmacakra wheel. The Dharmacakra symbol is one of the oldest Hindu and Buddhist symbols, found in Indian art from the Vedic time and the time of the Buddhist king Aúoka, and used by all Buddhist nations ever since. KBC Mag 04 (KBC Issue 4, Christmas 1979)The ancient pattern on Paddy's instrument resembles the Kalacakra, a Sanskrit term used in Tantric Buddhism that means "time-wheel" or "time-cycles", or the WHEEL OF DHARMA (Buddhist wheel of life and reincarnation).see more: KATE BUSH: The Transit of Venuskatebush.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=neverforever&action=display&thread=1701&page=2

I've recently been brought back to, Breathing under strange circumstances. On the East Coast of The United States, recently (October 2012), a major storm, named Sandy caused much destruction. While I was watching some of the news footage of the super-storm, they reported on a transformer (electric) explosion in Brooklyn, New York. The explosion caused a bright flash. "Last night, in the sky ooh, such a bright light." Sandy was powerful enough to cause massive destruction, and at least 12 causalities (confirimeds of now). "We are all going to die without......." Breathing is an interesting song to pair with disasters of non-nuclear origin.
