I'd like to submit an enhancement request to the board with regards to the bookmarks. The only way to get to your bookmarks is by first going to your profile, and then selecting the bookmarks. It would be much easier if there would be a link in the bar of logged in members (in the same bar as the 'profile', 'calendar', etc. links) to the bookmark page. This would be done by using the following html: katebush.proboards6.com/index.cgi?board=bookmarksI hope you can either do that yourselves, or pass the request on to the maintainers of proboard.

A Bookmark board would not exist if it hadn't been created in the first place, This is a personal board, Is it not?

Lori, The only reason you get the error message is because there is no such board. It's just an example board. But, in regards to the original post, I don't think it would really work because for one the example url is for a board, such as the General board, other topics etc, and has everybody's bookmarks are not going to be the same, then that link wouldn't operate. For it to work successfully, you just need to have a link at the top (anywhere) placed in the headers (possibly ALL headers for convenience)(sp?) with the following url: katebush.proboards1.com/index.cgi?/action=bookmarksBut again, even that wouldn't work because some people are logged in on server 1 and some on server 6, and it would be kind of stupid to have two links for the same thing. Personally, I'm just going to stick with the way it already is. :edit: Having checked, you can only access your bookmarks with the bookmark link directly from your profile. Clicking on the link above, which is the same as the link in your profile, just opens up the homepage.

Sorry, I have no idea how the bookmarks work. I've never used it nor have I looked into it before. I guess I should though so I can attempt to help with members problems I'll make it a priority

Lori! Don't make too much of a stress of this request... one of the charactaristics of enhancement requests is that they are supposed to be looked at after errors have been handled. About the link-address: I just copied the text from the string which appears on my profile page. I just assumed (well.. there you go: never make an assumption) that it would be just a matter of copying that link to the header and presto. Obviously there are some technical reasons which prevent the link from happening... that is ok as well.... that is another charactaristic of enhancement requests: they can be declined due to technical impairments... no hassle, no stress... a completely acceptable situation.

On the matter of the bookmark board's existance: It indeed presents itselve as a board, could it be that the board is temporarily created when somebody enters his/her profile? It would be personal, because the chances that everbody will have the same bookmarks are fenominally low, even improbable (and this is not a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy board, so I won't make any puns about that)....
