Now i don't even know if this can be done, but wouldn't it make life easier? I use it a lot, so it would be one less click each time. Just a suggestion, I'm sure Al will like the idea, but i guess the question is : Can it be done?

I never use the forum jump. I like to take my time when perusing the boards. Then again, I do have all night ;D I don't even use the ten most recent posts function. I just read all 'New' posts/ threads, then 'Mark all Read' at the end of each session, so I know where I'm up to.
Actually, I don't think it can be done, unless there is a code. You could ask proboards support...

I've put in a bar with a new link under the title table. Beneath the staff list.

As admin of my own board (for my family) I know that you can change last 10 posts to last however many posts. But I do not have that preference here only moderators do. Being that the board is so active right now and is only going to get more so, can the "last 10 posts" be changed to a higher number of posts? I remember hearing Al saying that he goes for the "last 50 posts" option. We as mere members, as far as I know, do not have this option. Can we can we? Maybe not 50, but at least a little more than 10?? If you do this Lori I promise I won't spit in your tea.

Although there is no longer a drop-down box with options in divisibles of 5; you may simply 'type over' the '10', using any number (within reason) that you wish. I usually over-type using '33'. It is fast and gets all the missed posts for a day or more generally.

Oh--(computer retard)---I guess if these options are available to me than nevermind. But maybe for the newbies?? I'm a near veteran and I still can't figure that out!! Duh! 20 would be cool Lori but no pressure. This board is great if it ain't broke don't fix it right? I still won't spit in your tea...no matter what!

I can't get that trick to work either, Al. Maybe it's an admin-only thing?

Click the search icon, don't type anything in for the keyword, make sure all the boards are checked, and at the bottom type in how many posts you'd like to display. Give me a shout when you've tried this
