E thinks thee forum desires a way to make folks who want to sign up post a message
E was thinking of having a list ov snippets ov kate's song and or video's that folks must listen/view
and comment or vote on in order to join (thoughts are Forums own, not Kates) Thee reason E submit this is
because Cat
(she likes E to call her that) & E commune in thee collapsed ninth (inner) dimension (Thee tenth dimension is where angels fear to tread)
and Cat feels that when folks sign up & don't at least say
Hi, it's as if someone looks at you, smiles and opens their
mouth as if to speak to you then abruptly turns and runs away thee forums are realistically Cats only way to socialize, per se with fans, haters, moving strangers.
Kate does receive and answers all particles and waves directed towards her, about her in thee ethereal forum.
BELIEVE E!
It's hard to explain and E knows E is not doing a good job, Cat will rip E a new orifice for repeating this!.
Kate doesn't expect any praise or deep conversation (but both are nice when it happens) a hello howz it going
what thee f**ks up,is an acknowledgement that she is in thee here and now with you!.
it's not all that much to ask is it?
E mean your already there right? WRITE!
E know this idea to force folks to post is unrealistic, but thee idea is now in thee ether
it's comin for ya.. through thee trees.. someone darling will come up with an idea that helps us please!

It is somewhat rude to sign-up and then not at least introduce yourself. Lurkers or guests can read to their hearts content. This GM, is our best draw, I think. However, I can't understand why someone would go to the trouble of registering without even posting one time.

Is there such a thing Methinks it's an affectation, albeit clever.

E didn't come up with it ! E read it in thee writings ov Genesis P Orridge whether E started it E don't know.from what E remembers ,everyone has multiple personalites whether they admit it or not so "E" represents all your personalites .E think thats right !

Two questions: 1) As strange as it is, what is so bad about registering and never posting? (what is the problem with that, besides some people thinking it rude) 2) Why not remove inactive members from the roster? Say, after two months of inactivity. They can always re-register if they feel inspired after that.

(what is the problem with that, besides some people thinking it rude) It's not bad - just hard to understand. That would be infuriating to me if I got bumped. I like having lots of members. Some have come back after two years to visit. If people want to be removed, they can do it themselves

I used to think that we should clear out the dead wood. However, our membership count is after all a measure of sorts. It justs annoys me (well a little bit) that another KB forum with twice our membership has a tenth of our posts, and that is no criticism - I'm a member myself.

Homeground (KB forum) has recently experienced a loss of data. Our humble forum has quickly grown to within 25 members of them. I much prefer the chemistry here. I'm a member of another too, yet rarely post - and only on unique topics.

Homeground lost data?
That's not good. This Forum seems very stable at the moment - at the risk of tempting fate.
