4 out of 5 people do. ;D ;D I'd like to comment about the appearance of our forum. Personally I am proud of the clean, tight appearance of our threads. I have looked in on several other forums, Kate and otherwise, and I think ours can be counted as one of the sharpest (for various reasons ) I think Lori has done a great job with the layout, and I'd like to think we offer some thoughts and ideas, and offer any help we can give. But, honestly... I'd like to commend the members for keeping it respectful and clean. I don't like the threads being scatter-brained and rambling, and we observe the various threads appropriately. And mainly what I am proud of is our discrete use of images/quotes and avatars. I don't like being assaulted with billboard size advertising for other artists or images.... I have the rest of the internet for that. It also slows the loading of the pages. I think we maintain great individuality in our images/avatars and I thoroughly enjoy the ones we have picked. Just an observation that I'd like to pat us on the back for. Thanks to everyone for their part. ;D

Couldn't agree more..
I think the exemplary behaviour here generally, is an extension of the respect members seem to have for Kate's music and her sensibilities.

I don't understand. Why would making it sticky make a difference? Hi, Lori. Sorry I haven't responded to this sooner. I haven't been around much recently. I had proposed putting a sticky at the top of each board that is named after a song but actually isn't where we discuss the song itself. The sticky would contain a link to the board where the song itself is discussed. That way, when googlers looking for info about the song end up on the board, they may see the sticky and use the link it contains to go to the board where the song is discussed. I proposed putting the link in a sticky (as opposed to a normal thread) because a sticky would always stay at the top of the board, making it the first thing googlers see if they wind up on the board while searching for info about the song itself. If it isn't the first thing these googlers see, they may not stick around long enough to see it further down in the list of threads. Instead, they may read the first couple of thread titles, say to themselves "this isn't what I want", hit their back button, and go to the next hit that google returned... and that would be too bad (for them and for us)!

Welcome back, Sal. The keyword search factor does get us more traffic.

how'd u mean?? Lori, do you remember Jaclyn Bell? I thought she was fantastic on Stars. Do you know if her father or indeed herself, comes onto this chat forum? I'd really love to meet or get in contact with her.

Are you serious? OK. Honestly....this is one of the goofiest Kate sites out there...way too many goofy cartoonish smiley face stuff going on, and totally lacking in anything cutting edge. And much of the subject matter borders on the rediculous with little Kate connection. The dove dispencer has got to go before Kate looks on as you so suggested in the beginning of this post. Now, let me read what you all had to say to Lori's question and I'll wait but won't care when some of you begin to clobber me. ENOUGH WITH THIS PALE BLUE-ITS MUDDY AND SAD

I agree, this IS one of the goofiest Kate boards out there. That's why I love it!
In case no one has noticed, with one noticable exception, all the "serious" Kate Boards are as dead as Roller Disco.

Exactly. If this was all ponderous worship of Kate Bush, I'd run from here screaming - and so would she I suspect.

Xan, I took the time to answer a question from Lori..and in case you're wondering, your response felt like a clobbering to me! I bother, because I don't mind sifting thru most of the gibberish, to find what ever news I can about Kate, and yes, some of the gibberish is from me....don't get so testy girlfriend.

Scott you wouldn't know cutting edge if you were bleeding. I challenge you to find a group with more balance wit and intellect - Kate related or not - than this one. Kate may be the inspiration, but we are more about where we're going than about dwelling on where we've been. And please, before responding, change the stick in your ass.
