Been a fan of kate's since The kick inside, and it never ceases to amaze me that she eases my mind the momemt i hear her ( moments of pleasure ) you could say, also the way i have to read her lyrics few song writers can achieve this now we are in an age of plastic performers. Let;s hope the long wait is over soon and the cream will once again rise to the top

hi lori
i came straight from the hello earth web site as i was searching for KT dvd,s but hav,nt located any yet.
She does,nt make things easy really but never mind things would be a lot worse without her to listen to so i am quite happy with that.

Welcome marcus! Aren't you surprised by what artist have material released on DVD and which don't? I would have thought Peter Gabriel would have had more released by now as well. I hope they re-release all the Kate videos and the concert in DVD's to go along with the new album (whenever that finally comes out :

Hi xanadu 76 To tell you the truth i can't really say i'm suprised about what artists have material out on DVD, because i dont look about for them that much. What does suprise me is the fact that after such a long break without any new material nobody has gone down that road to try and keep her profile higher than what it is now. But if these are kate's wishes who are we to complain she must have great faith in us to know we will always be there.

Great faith in us, or plenty of funds. Kate's fans will never go away unless she sells out completely, and I don't see that happening. She doesn't need the attention like Madonna or Brittney Spears. Her niche appeal (especially in the US) may never reach the 'masses' though.

I'm surprised, too, that EMI hasn't been ALL ABOUT her catalog since she's had no new material in so many years. You know, releasing more greatest hits packages, remasters, DVD's, live performances, anything to keep something out there for the fans to be interested in. There is PLENTY of material out there that I would have bought NEW if it was still in print or had ever been available. I had to buy even the box set from Ebay, and just about most of my collection. KATE should be seeing the profits from her music, not the second hand markets! But, I do what I have to do until the "next wave." If I had to get one point across to her, it's that we want all of it. Please remaster and rerelease everything, videos/concerts/rare performances, and we'll buy them!! ;D ;D
