Starting this month, I'll be posting the playlists once a month. On the 15th of each month I will have a setlist of 10 songs, five Kate Bush songs plus five bonus tracks.
By agreement we will modify the list to a top ten for the month. There will be links to all the bonus tracks. If you post a suggestion, you must post the URL link to have it qualify. All suggested tracks must be submitted by the end of the month. Voting will begin (bonus tracks only) on the first of the month and end by the 14th. I will post this again on a seperate thread.
So please listen to the current list and post your comments. The new format begins on August 15.

Wow, August, great suggestion as well! I love that song! Hey Sto', do you think we have a fellow theater/broadway lover here? Do you like musical theater too August? Sto' and I had a discussion about this on the Red Shoes thread. Of course I do. I haven't seen as many live musical productions as I would have liked but I do enjoy getting the soundtracks. Let's see I think the last musical I saw was Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Ann-Margret was touring with it as Miss Mona.

That sounds fair, Al'! You shouldn't have to do so much hard work if people aren't going to reply. I'm confident that you'll get more remarks if people have a little longer The voting thing sounds a little complicated but everything sounds complicated to me at first and it sounds like a good idea to me!

Yeah, It may take a while to catch on, but if no one votes, I'll stick with my original list. Then main thing is that people listen and share their ideas.

I have four or five ideas brewing about the upcoming playlist themes. So here are the ideas in their infancy. Help me with pros and cons.
* 'The French Connection' Lara Fabian (see **) * 'Kate Clones' Milla, Tori, Happy, Lamya etc.. * 'Striking Resemblence' Strong percussion tracks plus obvious Kate Bush influences e.g. 'Tricky' Milla etc. * 'The Sensual World Tour' Sade, Susheela Raman etc. * 'Acting on Impulses" actresses' who sing, Milla Jovovich, **:Isabelle Adjani, Catherine Denueve, Jane Birkin.
These seem to have much common ground, but they could be developed into a continuing and unfolding storyline for the remaining five months of the year. The new format will also have more background information on the artists and the influences. More links and visuals will accompany each featured theme. Feedback?

That's a great idea, Al'. I really like how this is developing! It started out as a Kate-only board and now it's evolved to cover both Kate and other artists/influences, so we're getting a wider knowledge of all different kinds of artists and music. I like all the ideas - I haven't heard of all the artists, so it really will be a learning experience I say go for it!

These are really great ideas. Do you actually own any Catherine Deneuve. She is one of my favorite actresses. I will be very impressed. Any of these would be interesting playlists, but the "Striking Resemblance" one, I can't say much about that since I haven't heard anything by "Tricky" Milla. But I guess this would be an opportunity. By the way, I love the titles for the playlists. Very sharp!

Any of these would be interesting playlists, but the "Striking Resemblance" one, I can't say much about that since I haven't heard anything by "Tricky" Milla. I'm sorry, I left out a comma and " 's. I meant to say the artist 'Tricky' AND the artist 'Milla' (Milla Jovovich) whom I absolutely love as a singer/songwriter. Her melodies and stories are great. She has a beautifully breaking voice with much emotion. If you've seen her portayal of 'Joan of Arc' (her best work by far) you can hear the quality of her voice in many of the emotionally charged scences, I have only listened to 'Catherine Deneuve' on the net. Her voice is pretty good. She and Isabel Adjani are two of the most beautiful and sexy women on earth. Kate, Milla Jovovich and Sade would round out my top five. (not in that order )
