A painful way to attempt stardom. I'm pretty sure a good number of talented artist over the years would be rejected from this show, perhaps even our dear Kate; heaven forbid she would ever come near it!

If it's anything like 'American Idol' it wouldn't interest me. On the US version, they obviously pick some people with little or no talent, just to humiliate them publically. It is a frightening trend. But there seem to be alot of those treads in entertainment. Shock TV, Lying to participants on so called 'reality' television and so on. I prefer you folks, books and documentaries.

Pop Idol is great watching. And Kate proberley wouldn't've got far on it. I wouldn't class her as a 'POP Idol' anyway. Of those who do watch it though (proberley none of you's : Andy is the boyfriend I should have

Poor Andy got ousted!
My fave's Suzanne, she's had a couple of dodgy weeks but she's a little bit different, which I love!

Yay Sto'! My fellow Pop Idol viewer ;D I was absolutely gutted that my Andy got voted off last Saturday. I thought it was a disgrace though 'cos he did quite well last week (and I think he's been steadily improving throughout the competition). Chris was terrible!! He should've gone. Susanne has been dodgy like you said for the past couple of weeks but she's my favourite now (she was always second best for me when Andy was there). Very unique indeed in voice and in style.

Yeah Andy was definitely improving - I think he'll probably get a record deal in the future. He was after all in a pop group who realsed some singles a couple of years ago! Suzanne was better this week but the themes they choose really don't seem to suit her very much. I think she'd do really well in a Kate Bush themed week! (If only THAT would happen ) I wonder which Kate songs they'd sing? It'd be so hard to choose

I do hope you're right. I'd hate to think that's the last we'll see of him. That'd be amazing but so difficult for the contestants. Ah well I guess we could have a laugh ;D Maybe for us. The contestants might see it in a totally different light, hehe. Wonder if anyone would dare risk Wuthering Heights Think Running Up That Hill & Hounds of Love would get sang... mainly popular releases would get chosen.

Aww look what was on the AOL news, hope it's not true:
Pop Idol's Michelle and Susanne Not on Speaking Terms POP Idol contestants Michelle McManus and Susanne Manning are said to have fallen out.
It's reported their arguments have caused friction in the Pop Idol house.
The Daily Mirror says Susanne feels the Glasgow girl is a big threat to her winning the ITV1 competition and refuses to be pictured next to her.
Roxanne Cooper, who was eliminated on Saturday night, confirmed the pair are not getting on. "Michelle and Susanne don't get on that well. It's difficult living in the house all together," she said.
The paper quotes an insider saying: "Susanne is beginning to rub people up the wrong way. She acts all innocent and clueless on the show but she's playing a very clever game."
