Very perceptive Sheila! Yes you're right, the other two include references to a Father and child relationship.
Bugger, just realised this is my 500th post and here I am wasting it on a trivia question!
(No offence meant, Trivia watchers..) You "wasted" your post making me feel good about myself, you made a former suicidal teenager smile. You did not waste the post. By the way, my 500 was on the trivia board too, is it wrong?... I didn't post the song I saved for the 500 mark that I started writing and never finished 150 posts later. Am I suspended in gaffa?

This is probably wrong, but Hounds of Love because the other 2 relate to how Classical music can enrich us and our spirit, even if we are not into that particular vibe... I know I'm jumping the gun here, but I wanna post another one before I forget it, I think we are intelligent enough to handle 2 at a time if I am overstepping my boundaries anyway.... here it is... 1. Simon Drake 2. Gary Hurst 3. Alan Murphy I like your answer so we'll go with it. My answer was Delius, for the reason that the drums/percussion are by rhythm machine. The credit on the album is Roland, meaning Roland tr808 drum composer. The other 2 songs feature human drummers.
I think that the answer to yours, is Simon Drake is the odd one out. My reason is a bit morbid, Gary Hurst and Alan Murphy are both no longer with us. Simon Drake is as far as I know, alive and well.

There's a lesson for me - even our most casual posts can have a value to someone. Thank you Sheila.
As to your song, I have stuff in my project studio PC still incomplete after 10 years! You've got loads of time to finish it. (Just make sure you do..)

You are correct Adey. Actually my reason is even more specific, but the same. Both Hurst and Murphy died of AIDS.

Technically its my turn for answering Sheila's and it's also Sheila's turn for answering mine. As you can see from the thread, Sheila threw in an extra one.
Sheila, you post the next one Ok?

I can think of 3 reasons why one is the odd one out. I honestly think you are giving in too easily, man! Heroes, Ashes to Ashes, and Loving the Alien I think are may favourites...

Ok, wild stab in the dark here... Love and anger because she doesn't wear a veil in the promo vid? Station to Station is an excellent Bowie album.

Nice one Paul! Not the reason I was thinking, but I kinda like your's better. You had the right song though. I was thinking there have been demos of the other 2 songs unofficially released. Also, Love and Anger is the only song she produced herself. I forget what the 3rd one was. You're up Paul.

The Dreaming because the other two are about getting past metaphorical hills?
Running up that Hill because it's the only one of the 3 prospective avatars that got used on this board?
