Rushing, swirling, sucking me in, your silence fills my ears with din, yet letting go such sweet sorrow, knowing there'll be no tomorrow.
Today you'll see we'll always be, celebrating eternity; This love you feel is natural power, the taste, the touch, the sweet and sour.
Just leave the time of surface illusion, embrace the panic and confusion, for out of chaos comes inner peace, shedding the restrictive fleece.

If not please keep it up. Forgive my indulgence in adding the red suggestions. They make the flow easier for me to read. Please take no offense.

I wonder if it's just in the nature of people's general insecurities, or if there is something about poetry itself that prompts some of our members to adopt Pseudonyms when presenting their efforts?
It seems that many may be attracted to the writing form but have too much respect for it's gravitas to experiment openly..

Yes LA, I like your modifications much. Being not quite all there myself, my creations oftentimes lack finesse. They are nonetheless feeling driven. This Kate Bush person without conscious effort generates an enviroment that promotes creativity beyond her imagination yet wonders what all the fuss is about. The structure of art is like lateral thinking, it only makes sense when you look for the connections. The best art has none, just a sense of being for its own sake.

It seems that many may be attracted to the writing form but have too much respect for it's gravitas to experiment openly.. That is not a phenomenon unique to this forum. As you know, many poets and author's use pen names. I think it helps liberate the thought process. I don't mind so much people knowing what I write. It is just easier to feel plugged in if you are a part of a whole instead of an individual. As an alterego, you can ascribe whatever qualities and truth's you prefer to the character you must become, in order to transcend your own frailties or limitations. When I am writing under the pseudonym's of Iago, SvenGolly and even Al, I am free to explore the good, the bad and the ugly that is inherently within me - and all of you - without the hesitation that personal conversation imposes. The truth is easier to find and express, to me, under these circumstances.

Duck and dive, spin and weave, take and spill, begin, receive. For life's mysterious game, this plan, is hidden in each girl and man.
By reaching in your heart you'll find, all that you have been in mind, no different to what is now outside, when you truly do confide.
In one who sees the soul entire, deep in ice and all in fire, only then begin to see, the "I" in "U" is one, all we.

NEO, as you become more introspective, your poetry improves. You are flirting too close to the edge, however, in some of your other posts. Still, even I don't mind the texture you add here. Remember to take time to periodically contemplate the here and now.

I agree this is a step up in quality if it's Neo's. The form is tighter and definitely more economical. Some lines work really well for me ~
"In one who sees the soul entire Deep in ice and all in fire, "
I'd be proud of that myself!
Work on Neo. At least you're out there doing it, while I just talk about it. I must make more effort here..

If Neo is "The One" then ego wins with me, emotion clouds the mind, obscuring what you see.
Only when you know, all around is part, of deeper self exposed, exploring all the art.

When is now? If now was then, then then is now, so how can now? be when I knew, "I" LOVE "U" Forever..........................

When is now? If now was then, then then is now, so how can now? be when I knew, "I" LOVE "U" Forever.......................... Let me clarify in case you have pending appointments. Now is when you read this. Yesterday is no longer here. And tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. Unless of course you wrote this tomorrow. Alas, however, you are forever in the now.

A billion stars
Cast your net to a billion stars And draw them down in service You can do this even in your cars With imagination and some purpose
The great the good and all that's beautiful All lie within your reach Take a break from all that's dutiful And run down Kosmos beach
When in the shallows seek the deep Run from the thin and into the thick This place is present even in your sleep Just release yourself from within your grip
With this release see a whole new world And find your Self exploded to infinity To a greater purpose your spirit's hurled And the realisation of your own divinity

I'm sure. But it means more coming from someone other than IM, Doug. ;D From the moment I walked in here and read a few things, I said to myself "Integral Mind" is special.
